Today I realized that I've been to work everyday since January 6th and will continue this pattern until February 14th- with the exception of this Monday which is a holiday and therefore a no-work-by-law type of day. So that's nice. Work at school is pretty-- well, it's pretty awful. But I shouldn't complain. I get paid to read blogs, draw, sometimes nap, and occasionally help students with computer problems or do some easy clerical work. It's just a long day is all. And being at school during my break is a bummer. But working at MOCA shouldn't even be considered a job, it's more like going to events and I just happen to get paid for it. Like today for example, we met up with 3 graffiti artists (Mitz, Panic, and Aslum- it was his birthday today! We sang.) and basically graffitied outside the museum on canvas' for 4 hours. Not a job, right? I feel really lucky that I get to do all these neat things and meet really amazing people.

Well, gotta go to the ol' mine again tomorrow. I'll be sitting at a table and checking in art pieces for Teen Night. Drop by and we'll go get bean cakes!

I told the office at school (where I currently get paid 8 bucks an hour) that I have an art class on Fridays. I'm not taking any art classes. So, here I am, enjoying my semi-free day.

His name is Oliver- or Oly for the lazies. He's been wandering around the neighborhood for about a week or so and because no one claimed him and because we've been in a constant search for a dog for the past 2 years, we gladly took him in. Awwww! A puppy!

We walked in right at 10 o' clock and the guys at Scoops gave us 2 cups of free yummy ice cream (including one of my favorites- horchata) and as we were about to leave, a fellow customer gave me her (never touched) oreo ice cream!

I now plan on baking in the sun, growing a beard, brushing my teeth with regular toothpaste, gluing my glasses in place, putting on makeup for the first time and wearing a scarf with a short sleeve tee-shirt the day of senior portraits.
